roman concrete history
How do you know everything in the Bible is concrete?

I hope this does not offend anyone. But how do we really? You can simply say no because the Bible says, because that's what the question! In view of the diversity of human life and real history of Christianity as a Jewish sect to become the official state religion of the Roman Empire, later adopted by the major pagan figures newly created European states, and the history of the Bible as a oral history of one of the pastors of many of the ancient Semitic Middle East, how can we say that everything in the Bible must be taken for granted? Even if you do, always will be differences of interpretation, not one of the interpretations are always subject to the person making the process of interpretation (hermeneutics see if it is not familiar). The question is how the "how" he said. Is it the experience? What? Once again, I'm not aggressive. I'm envious:)

You can trust the Bible Some people say the Bible is not trustworthy, and their views have gained wide acceptance. So today many reject what he says the Bible as unreliable. Secondly, what Jesus said in prayer to God promotes confidence, "Your word is truth." And the Bible itself claims to be inspired by God, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16. What do you think about this? Is it a solid base to rely on the Bible? Or is there really evidence that the Bible is not reliable, contradicts and is inconsistent? Is it contradict itself? Although some argue Bible contradicts itself, has anyone ever shown a concrete example? I've never seen one that could withstand scrutiny. While it may seem unusual in the accounts of certain Bible. But the problem is usually lack of knowledge of the details and circumstances of the time. For example, some people draw attention to what they see as an anomaly in the Bible, asking, "Where did Cain get his wife? The assumption is that Cain and Abel are the only children of Adam and Eve. But the hypothesis is based on a misunderstanding of what the Bible says. The Bible says that Adam became a father to son and daughters. "(Genesis 5:4) So Cain married his sister or perhaps a niece. Often critics are looking for contradictions and therefore can declare: "The Bible writer Matthew says that an army officer came to ask Jesus a favor, while Luke said that the representatives were sent to ask. Which is correct? (Matthew 8:5, 6, Luke 7:2, 3) But is it really a contradiction? When the activity or work of persons attributed to him who is really responsible, a reasonable person question is not a discrepancy. For example, consider a report which wrongly said that the mayor has built a road, although the current building of the road has been conducted by its engineers and workers? Of course not! Similarly, it is not inconsistent to say that Matthew that the army officer made a request of Jesus, but, as Luke writes, that such application was made by some representatives. As more details are known, apparent differences disappear in the Bible. History of science and the historical accuracy of the Bible was widely doubted. Critics, for example, questioned the existence of the characters in the Bible as King Sargon of Assyria, Babylon of Belshazzar and the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. But recent discoveries verified biblical story after another. Thus the historian Moshe Pearlman wrote: "Suddenly, the skeptics who doubted the authenticity even historical pieces of the Old Testament began to revise their views. "If we trust the Bible, must also be specific issues in science. Is it? Scientists not long ago, in contradiction the Bible says the universe does not start. However, the astronomer Robert Jastrow has recently pointed to the new information that refutes, explaining: "Now see how the astronomical evidence leads to a biblical view of the origin of the world. The details are different, but the essential elements of astronomy and accounts Genesis Bible are the same. "-Genesis 1:1. Men have also changed their views regarding the shape of the earth." Discovery Travel "Explains The World Book Encyclopedia," proved that the Earth was round and not flat like most people had thought. "But the Bible was correct from the beginning! Addressing more than 2000 years of travel, the Bible says in Isaiah 40:22: "It is He who is dwelling above the circle of the earth" or other translations say "the globe of the earth" (Douay), "the earth is round." (Moffatt) and the more human, more evidence that the Bible is can be trusted. A former director of the British Museum, Sir Frederic Kenyon, wrote: "Already the results achieved confirm what faith suggests that the Bible can not do anything, but gain more knowledge. "Predicting the future, but can we really trust the Bible forecast the future, including his promises of a" new heaven and a new earth, just "" (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:3, 4), "Well, what has been record of the reliability of the Bible in the past? Again and again the prophecies given hundreds of years in advance are fulfilled in all the details! For example, the Bible predicted the fall of mighty Babylon almost 200 years before it happened. Of Indeed, the Medes, who has sided with the Persians, have been designated as the winners. And if not Cyrus king of Persia, was born yet, the Bible had predicted he would be important in the conquest. He said protecting the waters of Babylon, the Euphrates, "must be cured," and that "the gates [of Babylon] will not close. "Jeremiah 50:38, Isaiah 13:17-19, 44:27-45:1. These details have been fulfilled, as the historian Herodotus reported. Moreover, the Bible foretold that Babylon would become uninhabited ruins. And this is what happened. Today Babylon is a desolate heap of mounds. (Isaiah 13:20-22, Jeremiah 51:37, 41-43) and Bible is full of prophecies of others who have been taking dramatic. What is the Bible predict about the current global system of things? He said: "The final age of this world is to be a time of turmoil. Men love more than money and I will be arrogant, boastful, and abuse, there is no respect for the parents, not recognition, no mercy, without natural affection. . . They will be the men who put pleasure in the place of God, men who have the outward form of religion, but they are a negation permanent reality. "2 Timothy 3:1-5, New English Bible. Certainly we see the performance of this company! Yet the Bible also predicts that" the final age of this world "these things:" Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages. "Moreover," there will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences. "Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:11. In fact, biblical prophecies are being carried out today! Well then, what yet-to-be-fulfilled promises, like: "The righteous shall inherit the earth and reside forever upon it" and "They will beat their swords into plowshares … They do more for war? "-Psalm 37:29, Isaiah 2:04. It's too good to be true, some may say. But, in reality, no reason for us to question all that our Creator promises. His word can not be trusted! (Titus 1:2) In reviewing the evidence, you become increasingly convinced of that. For more information http://www.watchtower.org/e/t13/article_01.htm visit
