How do you figure the amount of concrete (yardage) for a driveway, 65′ x 10′ x 4″.?
First convert every thing so it is in terms of yards…
65 ft * 1 yrd / 3 ft = 65/3 yards
10 ft * 1 yrd / 3 ft = 10/3 yards
4 in * (1 ft / 12 in) * (1 yrd / 3 ft) = 4/36 yards
Now multiply to find your volume in yards…
(65/3) * (10/3) * (4/36) = 8.024 yards
